While ASUS certainly drawn a lot of attention with its ASUS ZenWatch smartwatch, it appears that we will soon see yet another smartwatch from ASUS, the ASUS VivoWatch.
Unlike the ASUS ZenWatch, which is based on Android Wear platform, the upcoming ASUS VivoWatch will run on its own operating system, be more focused on fitness and feature a rather impressive 10-day battery life.
While ASUS did not shed much details regarding the actual specifications, the company did note that it will feature a stainless steel body, IP67 certification which make it water and dust resistant and feature heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking.
According to release pictures, the ASUS VivoWatch will feature some kind of monochrome display with color notification bar at the bottom, which is probably how ASUS managed to promise a 10-day battery life. Unfortunately, we still do not know what kind of SoC it is based on.
ASUS also did not reveal any details regarding the price but did note that more details will be announced soon, at Milan Design Week show.
