be quiet!, a well known German manufacturer of PSUs and CPU coolers, has announced its latest low-profile CPU cooler aimed to be used with both SFF PCs as well as HTPCs, the Shadow Rock LP.

Despite its modest and compact dimensions set at 134x122x75.4mm, the be quiet! Shadow Rock LP CPU cooler can still cope with CPUs with a TDP of up to 130W.

It packs a rather hefty but low-profile aluminum heatsink with 48 fins cooled by a 120mm PWM Pure Wings 2 fan and connected to the CNC machined copper base via four 6mm heatpipes. The Pure Wings 2 fan packs nine airflow-optimized fan blades and durable rifle bearing and produces maximum noise of 25.5dBA.

The new Shadow Rock LP CPU Cooler comes with a brushed aluminum top cover while ends of heatpipes have been equipped aluminum caps so it will not only perform but also look good in any SFF or HTPC system. Supporting all newer and popular Intel and AMD sockets, including LGA 775, 115X, 1366, LGA2011 and AM2(+), AM3(+), FM1 and FM2(+) sockets.

According to be quiet!, the new Shadow Rock LP CPU cooler should be available in retail/e-tail now with a suggested retail price of €48,00.
