Intel silently adds Core i3-4170T to its lineup

Energy-efficient 22nm Haswell Core i3

Intel has silently added yet another 22nm Haswell Core i3 CPU to its lineup, the energy-efficient Core i3-4170T.

Spotted at Japanese Akiba PC Watch site, the Core i3-4170T is a dual-core SKU based on 22nm Haswell architecture and works at 3.2GHz, packs 3MB of L3 cache, supports Hyper-Threading and comes with Intel HD 4400 graphics. What makes it really interesting is that it has a 35W TDP, which is significantly lower than 54W TDP which is standard for Core i3-41xx lineup.

Intel is also expected to unveil the new Core i3-4170 CPU later this month which will be the fastest Core i3-41xx SKUI with 3.7GHz clock speed.
