Origin announces Omega line of HTPCs

High-end gaming HTPCs starting at US $999

Origin PC has launched its new line of high-end home-theater PCs (HTPCs), the Origin Omega, which will be based on a wide variety of customizable HTPC cases as well as a wide variety of hardware with up to 3-way Nvidia GTX 980 SLI.


The new Origin Omega lineup will feature support for 4K gaming at 60+ fps, the ability to boot directly into Steam Big Picture Mode and with optional mouse emulation software support for your wireless controller as well as offer wide variety of hardware choices with up to triple-SLI Nvidia Geforce GTX 980 graphics cards, SSD or HDD options with up to 14TB of storage space, support for Steam OS and Steam Big Picture Mode as well as Origin's lifetime 24/7 support in the US.

The new Origin Omega lineup is entirely based on Silverstone cases and includes a choice of five different Silverstone cases, wide choice of ASUS, Gigabyte and EVGA mini-ITX, micro-ATX and ATX mainboards, Intel CPUs of up to Core i7-4790K, Nvidia Geforce and AMD Radeon graphics cards ranging from GTX 960 and R9 285, up to triple-SLI Nvidia GTX 980 or triple Crossfire AMD R9 290X graphics cards.
