Following the launch of its S80 series SSDs, Silicon Power has now unveiled two news models, the S85, aimed at notebooks, and the V85 for desktop PCs.
The CES 2015 show has really been the place to see quite a few new SSDs, but this did not prevent Silicon Power to continue to evolve its range of SSDs based on SATA III interface and 2.5-inch 7mm form-factor by announcing the new Slim S85 and the Velox V85 SSDs.

On the performances side, they are identical, with 560MB/s in sequential read and 540MB/s for write. The rest of their specifications is not yet unveiled, but their controller will most certainly be a Phison one, as it was often the case for Silicon Power SSDs.
The S85 and V85 will be available in capacities of 240GB, 480GB and 960GB along with a 5-year warranty. Unfortunately, Silicon Power did not reveal any details about their prices or availability.
