Inno3D has introduced a new version of its custom cooler for high-end graphics cards, the Herculez X4 Air Boss, that will be available with new Inno3D Geforce GTX 970 and GTX 980 graphics cards.

While the Herculez X3 Air Boss triple-fan custom cooler from Inno3D already did a great job in cooling almost any high-end graphics card, it appears that Inno3D found out that by adding a fourth 50mm fan on top of the graphics card improves temperatures of the PCB and the VRM part of the graphics card by quite a margin.

According to Inno3D, the new Herculez X4 Air Boss cooler will be available on certain Geforce GTX 980 and Geforce GTX 970 graphics cards, while these same series will also be available with the older Herculez X3 Air Boss cooler as well.

Inno3D will have plenty of GTX 980 and GTX 970 version on the market including the highest clocked Herculez X4 Air Boss Ultra versions.

Unfortunately, Inno3D did not reveal any information regarding the precise availability date or the price.
