Following the success of its X3 PC case launched back in July last year, Cooltek has now updated its line of midi-tower PC cases with a new budget-oriented model which also focuses on functional exterior and interior as well as an efficient noise reduction, the Cooltek X4.
Made from a combination of steel and plastic and with dimensions set at 308x175x425mm and support for ATX and M-ATX motherboards, the new Cooltek X4 is a bit more serious than the earlier released Cooltek X3 PC case. What is most important, is that the Cooltek X4 still offers impressive set of features while aiming to be the ideal base for budget-conscious users.
Most noticeable feature of the new Cooltek X4 is its noise-insulation, something that is rare with PC cases in this price range. The Cooltek X4 comes with sound-absorbing foam lined on its side panels and top cover. The rest of the features include two 5.25-inch external drive bays as well as five 3.5-inch ones. It also supports up to 275mm long graphics cards as well as up to 145mm tall CPU coolers.
The cooling part of the Cooltek X4 case is definitely not its stronger side, which is not surprising considering that we are talking about a budget-oriented PC case. It comes with a single 80mm fan located at the rear which should only remove the heat from inside the case. The front mounted I/O panel features single USB 3.0, single USB 2.0 as well as standard HD Audio ports.
According to Cooltek, the new X4 PC case should already be available in stores with an MSRP set at €32.99 inc. VAT.
