While the NVIDIA GTX 960 is still not officially announced and rumored for a January 22 release, some manufacturers are starting to unveil their products and today we have three GTX 960 graphics cards from KFA2.
KFA2 is now known in Europe as Galax and it seems that the manufacturer already has three GTX 960 ready for release, one based on reference GTX 960 design as well as the GTX 960 OC and the GTX 960 EXOC versions.
The reference design GTX 960 does not reveal not much regarding the actual graphics cards as it features a standard PCB powered by a single 6-pin PCIe connector and features 2GB of GDDR5 memory. The cooling system is also reference and the recent rumors suggest that the official launch date is set for January 22 with a price tag of US $199.
The GTX 960 OC is a different story as it comes with a custom and shorter PCB. Its cooling system includes two fans and will have no trouble fitting into a mini-ITX setup. It still has a needs a single 6-pin PCIe connector to power it and also features 2GB of GDDR5 memory.
The last but not the least is the GTX 960 EXOC, which features a larger heatsink and a full PCB size. It still packs 2 GB GDDR5 memory, but features an 8-pin PCIe power connector, which suggest that it will have a decent factory-overclock as well as more overclocking headroom. The GTX 960 versions with 4GB of memory are expected to be released later despite the fact that the GTX 960 will feature a 128-bit memory interface.
There are more than a few days until we see if the rumored January 22 date is actually true.
