EVGA teases new flagship GTX 980 graphics card

The Classified K|NGP|N Edition

During CES 2015 show in Las Vegas, EVGA has introduced a new and interesting high-end graphics card, the GTX 980 Classified K|NGP|N Edition. This model is particularly popular especially for overclockers and for those that simply like and enjoy high-end products.

Lately, there have been several rumors and teaser regarding this model, especially by the famous overclocker Vince "K|NGP|N" Lucido but only today we are pleased to show you some more details and a complete picture of the new graphics card. The new EVGA GTX 980 Classified uses a completely redesigned PCB equipped with a massive VRM part that draws power from no less than two 8-pin and one 6-pin PCI-Express power connectors.

At the moment, EVGA was not keen on revealing the actual specifications of this monster, however K|NGP|N has already published a 3DMark11 score achieved with the new GTX 980 Classified. As you can see below the new EVGA GTX 980 Classified was pushed to 2166 MHz for the GPU and 4451 MHz on the memory. Of course, judging from the temperatures shown we believe that the system was cooled with LN2.
