Famous leaker, @evleaks, who has officially retired, just could not miss out the opportunity to published its newest leak, the first official picture of the upcoming Nexus 6 smartphone.
While the leaked picture,
which was posted over at Twitter, does not show much other than a front panel and frame that seems to be made of metal, it does also show that the Nexus 6 obviously runs on Android L and keeps Google's recognizable Nexus design.
In case you missed it earlier, the Google Nexus 6 will be made by Motorola and pack a 5.9-inch QHD 2560x1440 screen, which makes it more of a phablet rather than a smartphone. The rest of the rumored specification include Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 SoC paired up with 3GB of RAM as well as a 13-megapixel rear camera.
According to Forbes, which cited an unnamed source close to the company, Google might unveil both the Nexus 6 as well as the HTC-made Nexus 9 tablet as early as today, October 15th, while both should be available sometime in November. Of course, this also means that we will finally, and hopefully, see an official launch of the new Android L OS as well.
