Microsoft has announced that over a million users have already registered for Windows Insider Program in order to download the Windows 10 Technical Preview.
Announced last month, the Windows 10 Technical Preview was meant for those that want to get an early feel about Microsoft's upcoming operating system and despite Microsoft's warnings that it is definitely not meant for consumers, it appears that a lot of people decided to try it out as Microsoft claims that there has been over a million registered users in the new Windows Insider Program.
Of course, we do not know how many registered users actually installed the Windows 10 Technical Preview but Microsoft noted that it managed to get "over 200,000 pieces of user-initiated feedback". Microsoft was also proud that nearly two thirds of all Windows 10 Technical Preview installations were done on actual PCs rather than virtual machines showing that all of the feedback is based on "medium-term" use rather than just a few minutes of experimentation.
Microsoft has also noted that a new build is coming soon but did not reveal any details regarding actual updates.
