Aerocool has unveiled another PC case that will join the Strike-X lineup, the new Strike-X Cube. This is a little cube case with an horizontal motherboard tray and a double chamber for hardware installation.
The Strike-X lineup from Aerocool features an unusual design, and whether you like if or not, you are not going to forget it. Today, Aerocool unveiled the new Strike-X Cube, which will be available in red, black or white color versions.
The case measures 280x380x350mm, and Aeroocl is using a horizontal motherboard tray to hide the PSU and the HDDs underneath it. As far as optical devices are concerned, there is a single 5.25” slot in the front, and under the motherboard tray you will be able to install up to three 3.5” HDDs and five 2.5” HDDs. Talking about ventilation, you get a pre-installed 200mm fan (800 RPM and 26.5 dBA) in the front as well as a 140mm fan in the back (1200 RPM and 27.6 dBA). Furthermore, you can install another 200mm fan on top, and another 140mm fan in the back, just above the PSU.
The new Strike-X Cube can fit graphics cards which are up to 320mm long (345mm if you take out the front fan), while the CPU cooler can go as high as 162mm (187mm if you take out the top fan). The front panel features there are two USB 3.0 ports, audio jack and a little fan controller.
The MSRP for the new Aerocool Strike-X Cube should be US $120.90.
