Cooler Master has unveiled its newest CM Storm, a keyboard and mouse combo which is the successor of the earlier available Devastator gaming keyboard and mouse combo.
While still focused on gaming, the new CM Storm Octane keyboard and mouse combo features seven different backlighting color options with full backlight or pulse modes as well as an ability to change the colors of the mouse and keyboard independently.
Based on AVAGO 3050 optical sensor, the Octane MS35 mouse has four DPI levels ranging from 500 to 3500 DPI and is capable of handling up to 10 million clicks. Aimed mostly for right handed users due to its position of the side buttons, the Octane mouse has 129x73x38mm dimensions and weighs 116g.
The Octane MB7C keyboard has 471x196x41.6mm dimensions and weighs 920g. It comes with media and volume as well as backlight control shortcut keys, has 19-key anti-ghosting support and also comes with both the Windows Key locking feature as well as privacy function that allows you to lock the entire keyboard when leaving the desk.
Although already detailed on Cooler Master's website, the precise availability date and the price of the new CM Storm Octane combo is still unknown.
