Sway, a simple way to create web content by Microsoft

Featured in the Office suite

Microsoft is pushing hard on its cloud based applications, and for this reason, the Redmond giant created a new app, which is going to be featured in the Office suite, called Sway, designed to create web content in a few simple clicks.

Sway looks a lot like the program featured in Windows 8.1, designed to create applications for the ModernUI interface. Sway will let the user create web content, and add it to its page in a few simple steps.

Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, anything can be embedded using Sway. The user will be able to embed an #hashtag to give himself more visibilità on the web, and a simple code will allow him to place it on its web page in a few seconds.

The first version is still kind of limited, but it’s still a great move by Microsoft, which is pushing really hard on its cloud based applications. Sway can be used by everybody, since it doesn’t require the user to know and coding, or anything about host or ftp: every feature will be already inside Sway itself. Unfortunately, Sway will be initially available only on Windows and Windows Phone, but it will come on Android and iOS on a later date.

For those of you who wants to try out the Beta version of this application, you just need to reach Sway.com and follow the simple instructions.
