20th anniversary QuakeCon 2015 date set

To take place between July 23rd and 26th

The 20th anniversary of the QuakeCon will be definitely quite interesting and, as of today, we finally know that the show will officially happen on July 23rd.

Probably the most anticipated gaming event of the next year now finally has a date attached to it as Bethesda Softworks has announced that QuakeCon 2015 will take place between July 23rd and 26th at the Hilton Anatole, in Dallas, Texas. QuakeCon 2015 will actually be the 20th annual QuakeCon and the convention has gone a long way from its first 1996 one held in Garland, Texas.

The tickets for QuakeCon 2015 will be free again and made available at a later date, and Bethesda has also announced it as a "North America's largest BYOC (Bring-Your-Own-Computer) LAN party." Of course, the convention will also host several panels, tournaments, previews of Bethesda games and plenty of other activities. Earlier this year, Bethesda revealed new Doom game during QuakeCon so QuakeCon 2015 will definitely be interesting.
