Deepcool launches new AiO CPU cooler

With 240mm radiator

A few months ago we had a chance to review a couple of AIO liquid coolers from Deepcool, which are a part of Deepcool's MaelStrom lineup. Today, the company has introduced a new model with a particular design of the pump and waterblock as well as a 240 millimeter radiator.

The Captain 240 uses a rather interesting steampunk design that is perfect if paired with the Deepcool's SteamCastle case. The pump uses a unique reactor shaped design and comes equipped with a small LED which illuminates the flow of the liquid. In order to ensure a better cooling, the water block uses a dense system of microchannels with a high density and a base made of copper.

The package includes two Deepcool 120mm red fans with PWM headers and an estimated lifetime of 100,000 hours. The blades are removable to ensure easy cleaning and are water and dust resistant. The system is compatible with the latest Intel and AMD sockets including, LGA2011-v3, LGA2011, LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA1150 and FM2+, FM2, FM1, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2.

At the moment we do not know when the Captain 240 will be available or its precise price.
