Antec released on the market a new lineup of power supply units with 80 Plus Gold Certification. The new Antec Edge will be available in 550W, 650W and 750W models, and they are specifically designed for gaming needs.


They were presented during CeBit 2014, and finally the Antec Edge PSU are coming to the market. They’ll be available in 3 different models (550W, 650W and 750W), and they all feature the 80 Plus Gold Certification, which should guarantee at least a 92% efficiency. The Antec Edge will come to the market by the end of September.

The design, which comes from Seasonic, is based on a single 12V rail. The entire block is cooled by a Fluid Dynamic Bearing 135mm fan which features white LEDs that can be turned off with a switch near the cable connections. To ensure the lowest level of vibrations, they feature a few rubber straps,

The MSRP is a bit high if you ask us: we start from 129.99€ for the 550W, then 145.99€ for the 650W, to finish at 169.99€ for the 750W.
