Apple's rumored September 9 event, which should include both new iPhone(s) and iWatch according to rumors, is now confirmed as the company has sent out invitations to select members of press.
While plenty of previous rumors were talking about September 9th as the date for the new event, Apple has now officially confirmed it by sending out invites. According to those same rumors, Apple is expected to show the new 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and possible the 5.5-inch one as well. The main star will most likely be the rumored iWatch, which Apple needs to at least announce in order to capture the market momentum.
Apple does not usually gives out any hints during its announcements but this one comes with a rather peculiar sentence saying that "Wish we could say more." This sentence could hint at new and improved Siri which is rumored to be the key part of Apple's upcoming iWatch or the word "more" could hint at larger iPhone. Of course, we will know for sure once the event starts on 9th of September.
Some recent rumors suggested that the 5.5-inch iPhone will not show up at Apple's 9th of September event but nevertheless, this is the date that you should mark in bold on your calendar.
