Despite the fact that the official launch will happen in two weeks, ASRock decided to show another model based on X99 chipset compatible with Haswell-E. As the name suggests, this new model is designed for workstation systems.

The X99 WS is compatible with the upcoming Haswell-E and featues Super Alloy components (with aluminum heatsinks, premium alloy chokes, dual-stack MOSFETs, 12K platinum capacitors). ASRock X99 WS is compatible with up to 128GB of DDR4 and there are ten SATA 6 Gbps ports, an Ultra M.2 and six PCIe x16 slots.

In addition, there are two Gigabit Ethernet ports, Purity Sound 2 7.1 and the display DebugLED.

Unfortunately ASRock has not revealed any details on the price and availability of the product.
