Abit talks about KN9 SLI

ABIT has spilled some beans about its next-generation Nforce 5 motherboard.

The board is called KN9 and it supports AMD's upcoming socket AM2 CPUs. It also supports DDR2 800 MHz memory and it is an SLI board. Abit continues its tradition of cooling the chipsets with a heat pipe and that suggests the board will be quite a quiet one.

The board has two PCIe 1X slots and a two in good-old PCI flavour, just enough for a PhysX and a decent Sound Blaster card. The board comes with two Network adaptors, four USB 2.0 ports a sound out and a PS2 port.
