Thermaltake introduces Frio Silent Series CPU coolers

Coming in three models

Thermaltake has introduced a new CPU air-cooling solution, the Frio Silent Series which will be available in three different versions, Frio Silent 12, Frio Silent 14 and Frio Extreme Silent 14 Dual.

According to Thermaltake, the Frio Silent Series has been specially designed to solve the noise problem in extreme PC gaming systems. With Low Noise Cable (LNC) design as well as some of the design and solution from its predecessors, the Frio OCK and the Frio Extreme, the Thermaltake Frio Silent Series will bring a new level of performance at lowest possible noise level to CPU cooling market.

As you could have guessed from the names, the Frio Silent Series will include 120mm and 140mm versions, the Frio Silent 12 and the Frio Silent 14. Both the Frio Silent 12 and Frio Silent 14 will feature the non-interference cooling design which should solve the problem of high performance RAM and CPU cooler. Both also come with performance optimized design with 0.4mm aluminum fins connected to three 8mm solid copper heatpipes which are in direct contact with the CPU. The Frio Silent 12 and Frio Silent 14 will also feature a 120mm and 140mm PWM fan with Low Noise Cable which should reduce the noise level by up to 38 percent.

The last but not the least member of the Frio Silent series is the Frio Silent Extreme 14 Dual, which comes with two 140mm PWM fans, dual tower design, six 6mm solid copper heatpipes connected to a mirror-finish copper base.

Unfortunately, Thermaltake did not reveal any details regarding the precise availability date or the price of the new Frio Silent series.
