Chinese site MyDrivers have leaked a couple of first pictures of what appears to be Nvidia's next-generation GM204 GPU which should be behind the rumored Geforce GTX 880 graphics card.
While this is most likely an engineering sample it is still early to talk about any specific details regarding the specifications but rumors suggest that it should pack 3200 CUDA cores while the GTX 880 should be available with both 4GB and 8GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 256-bit memory interface.
The GM204 looks to be a bit larger than the GK104 GPU and according to earlier rumors, should be still based on the 28nm manufacturing process. Nvidia is targeting the Christmas shopping season with this graphics card so hopefully we will see it before the end of the year.
