EK Water Blocks has released some details regarding it upcoming new lineup of water cooling blocks for both new graphics cards as well as some motherboards.
According to EK Water Blocks, all the upcoming water cooling blocks have been engineered and developed in cooperation with their respected partner, including AMD, ASUS, Gigabyte and MSI.
The lineup starts with two new blocks for ASUS ROG Matrix series graphics cards, the GTX 780 Ti and the R9 290X. Same as the upcoming water cooling block for Sapphire Radeon R9 290X Vapor-X graphics card, the two for the ASUS ROG Matrix series GTX 780 Ti and R9 290X graphics cards will be based on a full cover design, which means it will directly cool the GPU, memory as well as the VRM part of the graphics card. As far as the graphics card water blocks are concerned, EKWB is also working on a water block for the AMD FirePro W9100 graphics card as well. According to EKWB, all four will also feature side-attached Terminal port system which will allow users to connect up to four water blocks on the same system.
In addition to the water blocks for specific graphics cards, EKWB is also working on a couple of water cooling solutions for motherboards, including Gigabyte's GA-Z97X-SOC Force and ASUS Maximus VII series mATX Gene and ATX Ranger and Hero motherboards. The entire lineup will feature nickel-plated copper design with either POM Acetal or plexi-glass top, depending on the version. EKWB is also preparing a Monoblock water cooling solution for the MIS Z97I Gaming motherboard which will cool the PCH, VRM as well as the CPU, similar to the EK-FB ASUS M6I water block.
EK Water Blocks have also released some details regarding the availability date so the ASUS ROG Matrix series GTX 780 Ti and R9 290X should get their water blocks on July 1st while the water block for the AMD FirePro W9100 is expected on July 21st. The Sapphire R9 290X Vapor-X water block will come in the first half of August. As far as the motherboards are concerned, the Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SOC Force and ASUS Rog Maximus VII Gene/Hero/Ranger water blocks are expected on July 25th and July 30th, respectively, while the MSI Z97I Gaming Monoblock is expected to be available on July 28th.
