While Google has only announced the Android L developer preview during the Google I/O 2014 event, HTC has already announced that both of its One smartphones will have support for it.
While the finalized version of the Android L is expected in a few months, according to the reports, HTC announced that HTC One M8 and the HTC One M7 users will not wait long to get it and can expect Android L OTA updates within 90 days from the Google's official launch of the final software.
While it did not go into specific details, HTC did also note that some other One family members will also get the new update along with a couple of additional devices, most likely some Desire-branded smartphones.
HTC is definitely doing its best to stay on track with Google's Android OS updates and has done a similar 90-day commitment with the Android 4.4 Kitkat OS launch.
