Corsair Force LX SSD now available in 512GB capacity

Corsair has announced that its Force Series LX SSD will now also be available in 512GB capacity. According to Corsair, the Force Series LX SSD will bring amazing performance benefits of high-capacity SSDs to a lower price point.

Based on a Silicon Motion SSD controller and previously available in 128 and 256GB capacities, the Corsair Force Series LX 512GB SSD offer transfer speeds of up to 560MB/s for read and up to 450MB/s for write. Based on a standard 2.5-inch 7mm-thick form factor and SATA 6Gbps interface, the Force LX, according to Corsair, is an ideal upgrade for any desktop or notebook PC with a 2.5-inch drive bay and since it is bundled with the SSD ToolBox, it makes the transition easy.

The Corsair Force Series LX SSDs support TRIM, NCQ and S.M.A.R.T. technologies and are backed by a three year warranty.

As noted, Corsair's Force Series LX SSDs were previously available in 128GB and 256GB capacities priced at US $79.99 and US $129.99, respectively, while the 512GB version will be priced at US $259.99.
