AMD releases Catalyst 14.6 Release Candidate driver

AMD has releases the new AMD Catalyst 14.6 Release Candidate (RC) graphics card driver which features support for all graphics cards since Radeon HD 5000 series and bring several improvements for various games and benchmarks, as well as Crossfire profiles for few games, including Battlefield Hardline Beta.

As noted, the new AMD Catalyst 14.6 RC driver supports Radeon HD 5000, HD 6000, HD 7000, HD 8000, R5, R7 and R9 series desktop graphics cards as well as AMD Mobility Radeon HD 05000, HD 6000, HD 6000M, HD 7000M and HD 8000M mobile GPUs and is currently available for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 OS' in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors.

The new AMD Catalyst 14.6 RC driver brings performance improvements for Plants vs. Zombies game for AMD Radeon R9 290X graphics card as well as performance improvements for 3DMark Sky Diver benchmark on AMD A4 6300 APU and enables AMD Dual Graphics/AMD Crossfire support in the same benchmark.

The new AMD Catalyst 14.6 RC driver also brings AMD Crossfire profiles for Grid Auto Sport, Watch Dogs, Battlefield Hardline Beta and Wildstar games.
