MSI is really pushing the Gaming lineup, and today they have unveiled yet another motherboard for PC gamers, the MSI 970 Gaming, based on AMD's AM3+ socket. This motherboard should allow an exceptional gaming experience thank to Killer LAN and high quality audio by Creative.
MSI took on-board audio to the next level, thanks to the Audio Boost 2, powered by Creative Sound Blaster Cinema 2 chip. The combination between the great hardware and software, with Multi-Channel Speaker Calibration and headphone profiles, should deliver the ultimate audio experience. Thanks to the USB Audio Power, each USB port ensures 5 Volts of consistent power, so that you will have the best audio experience with any kind of USB headset.
When it comes to network connectivity, the 970 Gaming does not joke around as it features the Killer LAN Ethernet port, which will ensure the best lag-free connection in any kind of game.
MSI also used its Military Class 4 components, like they always do on high-end motherboards. This means Hi-C CAPs, Solid CAPs, Dark CAPs, together with SFC and Dark Chokes, which should all ensure great stability under any conditions. It also features OC Genie 4 and Click BIOS 4, to allow a fast overclock and to monitor, tune and remote control all the hardware settings.
Unfortunately, MSI did not talk about a possible release date or the price for the new MSI 970 Gaming motherboard.
