The fifth version of the Silverstone Raven PC case will be on the market in July. Traditionally, the Raven lineup of PC cases introduced many innovations, in term of design and functionality. The new Raven RV05 features an aggressive design and, thanks to the removal of the 5.25-inch drive bay, a lot more of internal space.
Previous versions of the Raven always had a few problems when it came to internal space, because the motherboard is always rotated by 90 degrees, and the end-result was that the 5.25-inch drive bay was always in the way, setting boundaries on what you could actually install in the case.
With the Raven RV05, the designers decided it was the right time to cut out the 5.25-inch drive bay, and this allows the user to install an ATX motherboard and a longed sized GPUs without any problem. It features two Air Penetrator fans and enough internal space for serious cooling solutions, even though the case itself is not that big.
Silverstone noted that the Raven RV05 will be available on July 3rd, with an MSRP of 89.99€.
