Samsung shows off 98- and 110-inch UHD HDTVs at IFA

Just when 85-inch is not enough

Samsung is certainly making even a bigger and more aggressive push into TV market and while curved screen and OLED panels are very appealing, size is sometime quite important as 98-inch and 110-inch UHD 4K sets that Samsung brought to IFA 2013 definitely show.

While 85-inch super-size screen that Samsung showed back at CES 2013 in January was definitely impressive, there is apparently quite a big market for super-sized TV sets as Samsung decided to unveil the 98-inch and 110-inch 4K models at IFA 2013.

Since we are talking about 4K resolution here even from a couple of meters away, there is no degradation of the quality when compared to smaller screens. Of course, at 110-inch you might want to keep a few meters away anyway or as far away as possible for you to see the entire screen.

Based ont he same design as the S9 series, called the Timeless Gallery frame, including speakers and the stand. These are definitely top of the line devices, at least if you are not looking for curved panels or OLED ones.
