After the earlier leak, Ubisoft has now officially release the system requirements for the upcoming The Division game, confirming that the game will be quite hard on the CPU.
While the
earlier leaked minimum and recommended system requirements are pretty much the same as the official one, these do confirm that The Division game will require a decent CPU. The minimum requirements include Intel Core i5-2400 quad-core Sandy Bridge CPU or AMD's FX-6100 six-core CPU based on Bulldozer architecture. On the GPU side, minimum requirements include GTX 560 or Radeon HD 7770, both with 2GB of VRAM. The minimum system requirements also include 6GB of RAM and 64-bit Windows OS.
The recommended system requirements are a bit more serious as you'll need at least an Intel Core i7-3770 quad-core CPU or AMD's FX-8350 octa-core CPU paired up with 8GB of RAM. It also needs Nvidia GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290.
The Division is scheduled to launch on March 8th on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4 but Ubisoft has promised that the PC version will have plenty of graphics settings and additional eye candy.
