ASRock updates motherboard BIOS for Skylake bug

ASRock has released its newest motherboard BIOS updates that should fix the so called Skylake freeze bug.

The issue, spotted earlier by a team of mathematicians, makes Skylake PCUs freeze under certain complex workload, like hunting down prime numbers with Prime95 software.

While most of users will never notice the bug, as you would actually need o stress your Skylake system while using Prime95 software, ASRock wants to play it safe and has released BIOS updates for al of its Intel 100 series motherboards which should now be free of the bug.

In case you own an Intel 100 series based ASRock motherboard, you should update it just to be safe.
