Corsair has unveiled a new addition to its DDR4 Dominator Platinum memory lineup, the Dominator Platinum 3200MHz 16GB kit which will come with a new red heatsink top.

Corsair's Dominator Platinum DDR4 memory series has been around for quite some time, ranging from 2666MHz to 3466MHz and 8GB to 128GB kit configurations, but has mostly been limited to a standard black color scheme.

The exception was the Limited Edition Orange black/orange color scheme Dominator Platinum 16GB (4x4GB) 3400MHz kit which was custom designed for the Gigabyte X99-SOC Champion motherboard.

Corsair has now decided to unveil yet another special edition Dominator Platinum 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 3200MHz kit which will have a black/red color scheme and should go well with plenty of black/red color scheme motherboards on the market.

The new kit consists of four 4GB modules working at 3200MHz with CL 16-18-18-36 latency and 1.35V voltage and features the same DHX aluminum heatspreader with configurable and upgradable top bar, light pipe and white LED lighting.

The new Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 red kit is already available at Corsair's own webstore with a price set at US $234.99.
