As we are just under a month away from CES 2016 show, LG has decided to tease and announce its CES 2016 monitor lineup, including new Ultrawide and 4K/UHD monitors that will be available with curved or flat panels.
The star of the LG CES 2016 monitor lineup will be a new 34-inch 21:9 aspect ratio curved Ultrawide monitor, the LG 34UC98, as well as a 21:9 Ultrawide workstation monitor with flat panel, the LG 34UM88.
Both will feature a 3440x1440 QHD IPS panel as well as come with Thunderbolt 2 connectivity. The curved LG 34UC98 will have support for AMD FreeSync and more aimed at gamers and digital professionals, while the flat panel one, the LG 34UM88, will be aimed at graphics and photo professionals due to its strict color accuracy.
In addition to two Ultrawide monitors, LG will also showcase a pair of 27-inch 4K/UHD monitors, including the LG UD68, aimed at gamers with AMD FreeSync support, and the UD88, aimed at professionals with color calibration. Both monitors will feature a 4K/UHD 3840x2160 resolution IPS panels and a USB 3.0 Type-C conector.
LG will also have quite a few other interesting monitors at CES 2016, including the new LG 24MP88, which will be a part of the Infinity Display series with thin bezel and ArcLine Stand. In addition to monitors, LG also used this opportunity to tease the new LG Gram notebook, a 15.6-inch premium notebook that should go after Apple's Macbook Air.
LG certainly has a lot to show at CES 2016 which kicks of on January 6th in Las Vegas and will certainly keep an eye on this lineup.
