We had a chance to be one of the first to get the Corsair's latest HX-series 1200W power supply, the HX1200i and in order to show it to you we decided to do a short unboxing video.
In case you missed it earlier, the Corsair HX1200i has an 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency rating, fully modular design and packs an impressive 100 Amps on its single +12V rail. It also has a Zero RPM Fan Mode where the 140mm fan does not even spins up under low and medium loads and when the fan does engage, it spins only as fast as it needs to since it is thermally controlled.
It also support Corsair Link, uses all Japanese 105°C capacitors which, in combination with the rest of high-end components should reduce coil whine and other electronic noise.
