EA/DICE's Battlefield 3 is now available for free on Origin until June 3rd. The game was previously selling for US $19.99.


In case you somehow managed to miss it, Battlefield 3 was released back in October 2011 and also available for both the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360, in addition to the PC, of course. The Premium Edition of the game, which includes all five expansion packs as well as in game items and much more is still selling at Origin for US $39.99.

EA has been quite keen to push its Origin system as it has previously offered the Dead Space for free and Plants vs. Zombies GOTY Edition is also available for free until June 16th.

While EA/DICE Battlefield 4 might be the new big thing, the Battlefield 3 is still a good game which is now even better since it is free.
