ASUS announces ROG G752 gaming notebook

Featuring GTX 980M and Skylake CPUs

ASUS has announced its latest Republic of Gamers gaming notebook, the ASUS ROG G752, which will be based on Nvidia's Geforce GTX 980M graphics card and wide choice of Intel's latest 6th generation Skylake CPUs.

As a part of ASUS' Republic of Gamers lineup, the ROG G752 will feature an aggressive design with new ROG Armor Titanium and Plasma Copper color scheme as well as pack plenty of gaming oriented features like an ergonomically-designed backlit keyboard with a 2.5mm key-travel distance, anti-ghosting 30-key rollover, dedicated Record key and several ROG macro keys.

The new ASUS ROG G752 is built around a 17.3-inch FullHD IPS display with Nvidia G-Sync technology. The rest of the specifications on the new ASUS ROG G752 include the latest 6th generation Core i7 Skylake CPU, up to 64GB of DDR4 memory, up to Nvidia Geforce GTX 980M graphics card with 8GB of GDDR5 VRAM and an optional NVMe PCIe SSD.

In order to keep it well cooled, ASUS ROG G752 will be the first notebook to feature a mobile 3D Vapor Chamber thermal system with copper hetpipes, that should provide more efficient cooling and dedicated cooling modules for the CPU and the GPU.

The ASUS ROG G752 will be available in three versions, the ROG G752VL with GTX 965M, the ROG G752VT with GTX 970M and the high-end ROG G752VY with GTX 980M. The ROG G752VY version will be the ultimate gaming notebook in terms of performance while the ROG G752VT and the ROG G752VL will be lighter and have a slimmer profile.

Unfortunately, ASUS did not unveil any details regarding the price or the availability date for the new ROG G752 gaming notebook but we will surely keep an eye on those models.
