Wizerty, a well known French overclocker, managed to break six new overclocking records at HWBOT, by running a system with no less than three MSI Lightning GTX 980 Ti graphics cards with water cooling, including Catzilla 720P 3xGPU, Catzilla 1440P 3xGPU, 3DM Fire Strike, FS: Extreme 3xGPU, 3DM Vantage 3xGPU and 3DM11 3xGPU.
Wizerty was running on a system based on an X99 motherboard, Intel's Core i7-5960X CPU, three MSI Lightning GTX 980 Ti graphics cards and GSkill Ripjaws IV DDR4 memory, all powered by Corsair's AX1500i and Antec HCP 1300 PSUs. In addition the overclocker used an ECC Beast LN2 pot while GTX 980 Ti Lightning cards were equipped with EKWB water blocks.
Wizerty managed to get five first category places, one second category place and also one WR in third position in Catzilla 720P. In addition, he also obtained a few top global places. Overall, he pushed the three graphics cards up to 1500MHz for the GPU and 2050MHz for memory, with a CPU clock always around to 5500 and 5600MHz.
Congratulation to Jean-Michel! We hope to soon see some more results with those Lightning graphics cards on LN2.
