Aerocool unveils Aero-800 and Aero-500 PC cases

Part of the PGS-A series

Aerocool has unveiled two new PC cases that will be a part of its PGS-A series, the Aero-800 and the Aero-500.

Targeting gamers on a limited budget, both the Aero-800 and the Aero-500 have the similar design as the Aero-1000, a flagship case from the PGS-A series. While the outside design might be similar to the Aero-1000 PC case, including the removable magnetic dust filter on the top panel and the front mesh-design, the two new mid-tower cases have different inner layout and features.

Both the Aero-800 and the Aero-500 support mini-ITX, micro-ATX and standard ATX motherboards as well as up to 390mm long graphics cards and up to 170mm tall CPU coolers.

The precise dimensions of the Aero-500 are set at 185x453.8x400.7mm while the Aero-800 is a bit larger with 200x472x430mm dimensions. The Aero-800 will be available in black, white, blue and gray colors while the Aero-500 will be available in popular black and white color options.

The Aero-800 has two 5.25-inch, two 3.5-inch and up to five 2.5-inch drive spots as well as a separated PSU and HDD area, for better airflow circulation and cable management. The Aero-500 on the other hand has two 5.25-inch, four 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drive bays and a standard drive bay and PSU configuration.

When it comes to cooling, the Aero-800 comes bundled with front and rear 120mm fans, while Aero-500 sticks to a single 120mm rear fan. Both also support up to two 120/140mm at the front, single 120mm at the rear and two 120/140mm at the top. This also suggest that you can mount 240mm radiators both at the front and at the top, as well as a 120mm radiator at the rear.

Aerocool Aero-800 and Aero-500 will be available in shops as of this week, which an MSRP for Aero-800 set at is €60,25/$67,90 and €37,72/US $42,50 for the Aero-500.
