ADATA was quite keen to announce that its XPG Z1 DDR4 3333 Gold Edition memory managed to break yet another overclocking record by reaching impressive 4255MHz at CL17 latency.
The overclocking feat was done on ASUS ROG Rampage V Extreme motherboard, Intel's Core i7-5960X CPU and single 4GB ADATA XPG Z1 DDR4-3333 Gold Edition module. The module was pushed to 2127.8MHz (DDR4-4255) at 17-25-29-50 latency.
This latest overclocking record, as well as some of the earlier DDR4 overclocking records just show how far DDR4 memory can be pushed and hopefully we will see even higher overclocking results as DDR4 memory becomes a bit more mainstream.
