Deepcool has unveiled the successor of its well known GamerStorm Assassin dual-tower CPU cooler, the GamerStorm Assassin II. Based on pretty much the same dual-tower design, the new Assassin II support all modern CPU sockets and should be enough to keep most, if not all CPUs, well cooled.
Measuring at 143x158x167mm, the GamerStorm Assassin II CPU cooler is everything but small. Featuring a large nickel-plated copper base connected via eight nickel-plated copper heatpipes to a twin aluminum heatsinks which are cooled by two fans. The two heatsinks feature a different shape as the Assassin II is meant to be mounted in certain orientation so an extra third fan can be mounted.
The first "push" fan is a 120mm one and spins between 300 and 1,400 RPM, pushing 68.06 CFM of air and producing between 17.8 and 27.3 dBA of noise, while the central fan is a 140mm one, spinning between 300 and 1,200 RPM, pushing 70.08 CFM of air and producing between 17.8 and 26.5 dBA of noise.
