With 4x NVIDIA Titan X Pascal

We have covered K|ngp|n breaking world records in the past and apparently the US American Vince Lucido did it again. This time he used four NVIDIA Titan X Pascal cards to raise the bar in Futuremark’s Time Spy benchmark even higher. The new world record mark is beyond the 31K mark.

New rumors also on Pascal refresh as well

According to the latest rumors from Fox Business, the next generation of GPUs from Nvidia will arrive this year. Nvidia’s Volta GPUs might be based on a custom 12nm FinFET manufacturing process from TSMC and at a first stage the chips will only be available for enterprise market. Apart from that it’s expected that the Volta based Gaming chips will launch in 2018.

With the launch of Intel Kaby Lake the hunt for the golden sample has yet begun again and overclockers are looking for the best possible chips they can find. Our Italian overclocking team member Franco “RULE” Valtulina has joined that game and apart from that he’s selling off the chips he doesn’t use for extreme overclocking himself.


Still issues with Battlefield 1

Following the launch of Resident Evil 7, Conan Exiles and For Honor's closed Beta, Nvidia releases a new driver supporting all those new titles. Meanwhile we’re at version 378.49 regarding NVIDIA’s WHQL drivers. Apart from game support some bugs have been addressed as well.

Equipped with Dual OC cooler

Palit already has a wide portfolio when it comes to graphics cards but that didn’t stop them from launching yet another model. The new card goes by the name “Dual OC” and it delivers solid performance at a competitive price point.


Rumors from Chiphell

On the Chinese Chiphell forum new information and speculation about the upcoming AMD Ryzen processors have been released. According to the latest rumors, AMD will release Ryzen in late February but the motherboard BIOS are still not finished. According to the source we might expect a poor availability due to a BIOS issues.


An entirely white motherboard

The H270M Mortar Arctic Edition from MSI is a mid-range motherboard that comes with a few interesting features. Compared to the previous model, which goes by the name B150M Mortar Arctic Edition, we see a similar color scheme, completely in white - as the name suggests - and a reworked layout and a higher grade chipset.

According to Jon Peddie Research

After it’s been announced that the market for desktop PC has started to stabilize there are more good news when looking at the volume of the PC gaming market. It appears that in 2016 sales have accounted for more than 30 Billion US-Dollars.



Eight new models

Intel Kaby Lake desktop and mobile processors have been available for a few weeks however the Xeon models are still missing. According to a document that appeared on CPU-World, a batch of Xeon E3-1200 v6 processors is to be available soon. So far the list includes only quad core models and six of them have Hyperthreading on board.


New HEDT chips

While we’ve already seen plenty of leaks and benchmarks based on AMD's upcoming Ryzen processors, some new details on the Intel X299 architecture have surfaced. According to rumors from Benchlife.info, Intel will launch their Core i7-7000 Skylake-X series during the next Gamescom in August.

Flagship model

As you might know already the Z270 XPower Gaming Titanium is MSI’s latest flagship model, based on Intel’s Z270 Express chipset. Apparently it comes with an armada of features, such as three M.2 slots for example. Compared to the predecessor, which went by the name Z170A XPower Gaming Titanium, they’ve kept the color scheme, but improved almost all the little details.


Tested and binned by 8-Pack

With the launch of Intel Kaby Lake several shops are meanwhile offering pre-binned processors. On of them is Overclockers UK where the well-known overclocker 8-Pack is taking care of checking the CPUs. Apart from that he’s also delidding the chips and changing the TIM with Liquid Metal from Thermal Grizzly to improve temperatures.
