Only needs a new driver

While an interview with AMD's engineer Laylah Mah over at c't Magazin certainly raised a lot of attention, it was already clear that AMD might easily have support for DirectX 11.2 on its Radeon HD 7000 series since it was clearly noted that problem is not on the hardware level but rather the driver.


Pricing revealed

Earlier at Computex 2013 show, Intel launched its Haswell based CPUs and while most of initial batch was based on quad-core SKUs, the next wave of products scheduled for launch in September will bring some new Core i3 and Pentium based models that should effectively replace the currently available Ivy Bridge-based SKUs. The recent listing at ShopBLT, spotted by CPU-World.com, reveals some of the prices for these models as well as some new Core i5 and Core i7 SKUs.


Highest resolution and pixel density so far

LG Display has announced its first Quad HD AH-IPS LCD display for smartphones that will bring a 2560x1440 resolution to a 5.5-inch size which adds up to an incredible 538ppi density making it better and higher than the current leading display found in the HTC One smartphone.
