Earlier at Computex 2013 show, Intel launched its Haswell based CPUs and while most of initial batch was based on quad-core SKUs, the next wave of products scheduled for launch in September will bring some new Core i3 and Pentium based models that should effectively replace the currently available Ivy Bridge-based SKUs. The recent listing at ShopBLT, spotted by CPU-World.com, reveals some of the prices for these models as well as some new Core i5 and Core i7 SKUs.
The pre-order price list starts with Pentium based GG3220, G3420 and G3430 CPUs have pre-order prices of US $70.61, $90.18 and $100.26, respectively. These prices are exactly the same as the prices of Ivy Bridge-based Pentium SKUs and since specifications are identical, all improvements will be based on new Haswell architecture and GPU enhancements.
The Core i3 lineup including the Core i3-4130, i3-4330 and i3-4340 are currently listed at US $136.85, $154.75 and $165.94, respectively. These are also priced the same as the Ivy Bridge-based counterparts, except for the Core i3-4340, which has a slightly higher price since it comes with more cache, higher 100MHz clock speed and offer faster integrated GT2 GPU part.
The new Core i5-4440 is priced at US $197 and this one should replace the Core i5-4430. The listing also shows the pre-order price for the Core i7-4771 set at US $334 which is somewhat US $8 higher than the price of the Core i7-4771.
