Corsair has announced the new HXi series of power supply units which will be available in 750, 850 and 1000W models as well as feature 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency, fully modular design and much more.


As noted, the new HXi PSU Series from Corsair will feature 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency certification which mean it will deliver over 92 percent efficiency and packs high-quality components like 100% Japanese electrolytic capacitors in order to provide clean, stable and continuous power. The new Corsair HXi PSU Series also support Corsair Link for voltage, power output, temperature and fan speed monitoring and settings.

The cooling of the HXi PSU series is done with a 140mm fluid dynamic bearing fan which only spins up under heaviest loads thanks to a Zero-RPM Fan Mode feature.

As noted, the Corsair's HXi will be available in 750, 850 and 1000W version. It will be backed by a seven-year warranty and expected to hit retail in August with a price set at US $169.99 for the 750W model, US $189.99 for the 850W one and US $229.99 for the 1000W model.
