Biostar announces new A88MQ micro-ATX motherboard

For socket FM2+ APUs

Biostar has launched its newast A88MQ micro-ATX socket FM2+ motherboard aimed to be used with AMD socket FM2+/FM2 A-series and E2-series APUs.

Based on AMD's A88X chipset, the Biostar A88MQ features four DIMM memory slots with support for up to 64GB of DDR3-2600+ memory, features six SATA ports (with SATA support for SATA 6Gbps), has single PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot, PCI-Express x1 and legacy PCI slot, integrated 5.1-channel HD audio with Audio+ technology with support for True Blu-ray audio and SPDIF out, HDMI and DVI outputs, SmartSpeedLAN with Gigabite Ethernet, ESD protection for I/O panels, 100 percent solid capacitors and 5-phase VRM, as well as all other neat features include onboard LED indicator called the Rapid Debug 2 and UEFI BIOS.

Unfortunately, Biostar did not reveal any details regarding the price or the precise availability date.
