ASUS also rolls out three Z97 Maximus motherboards

All based on the Intel Z97 Express chipset

In addition to the standard Intel Z97 Express and H97 Express based motherboards, as well as the TUF series motherboard, ASUS has also announced the new Republic of Gamers Maximus series of gaming motherboards based on the new Intel Z97 Express chipset and ready for Intel's 4th and 5th generation socket LGA1150 CPUs including Haswell, Haswell Refresh and the upcoming Devil's Canyon, the ROG Maximus VII Gene mATX, Maximus VII Hero ATX and the Maximus VII Ranger ATX gaming motherboards.


All three new Republic of Gamers Maximus motherboards will follow the recognizable ROG design with black and red color scheme while Maximus VII Gene and Hero will also feature the world's first dual-color PCB with matte black and red finish. The entire Maximus VII series will also feature premium components like black nickel processor socket covers and improved circuit layouts as well as feature advanced networking and audio for gaming, upgraded UEFI BIOS and M.2 PCIe x2 slot.

The entire series will feature Intel based Ethernet with ROG LANGuard and GameFirst III features which will optimized networking for gaming. The ROG Maximus VII Hero and Ranger motherboard will feature SupremeFX 2014 audio while Maximus VII Gene will come with SupremeFX Impact II discrete audio card. The series will also feature ASUS ROG Sonic SenseAmp and Sonic Studio features.

Made exclusively for gamers, the ASUS ROG Maximus VII series will surely be one to look for in case you are going for the new Intel Z97 Express chipset.
