Following the success of previous V Series power supply units, Cooler Master has announced the new V1200 PSU, a 1200W power supply unit with fully modular and single rail design, 80Plus Platinum rating and high quality components.


Designed upon a strong and stable V Series platform, the Cooler Master V1200 PSU features a single +12V rail and fully modular design paired up with high quality components, including highest grade Japanese electrolyte and solid capacitors, a custom PCB interface, and high quality 42mm transformers, which all lead to 80Plus Platinum rating with up to 93 percent efficiency at 50 percent load. It comes with a fully modular design with flat ribbon cables and feature twelve PCI-E 6+2-pin connectors which should be enough for any multi-GPU system.

The Cooler Master V1200 Platinum PSU is cooled by a single, bottom placed 135mm fan Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) fan with auto/hybrid switch which should provide lower noise, higher reliability and ensure that it keeps the PSU well cooled, even under full load.

The new Coolest Master V1200 Platinum PSU is backed by a 7-year extended warranty, supports Intel's 4th generation Core CPUs with C6/C7 power states and should be available soon with a suggest price set at €259.99 inc. VAT.
