EK Waterblocks today announced their latest addition regarding water blocks. The Thermosphere is a water block compatible with almost any graphics card availabe as of today.


A fullcover waterblock can be really pricy, especially if you are planning on fitting it on a mid-range graphics card. This is why EKWB came up with the Thermosphere, a GPU waterblock that can be fitted on almost any GPU on the market and apart from that it features a reasonable price tag.

The base kit of the Thermosphere is available in four different versions: copper (64.95 €), nickel (64.95 €), acetal (67.95 €) and nickel + acetal (67.95 € at first, 82.90 € later). The bundle features a G80 58x58mm mounting system, which is compatible with all Nvidia GTX 500, 600 and 700.

If you have an AMD or an old graphics card, you will have to purchase an extra mounting kit for 6.95 €. Furthermore, EKWB is selling many other mounting systems, such as G92 53x53mm, R600 54x54mm, GD560 51x61mm an G200 61x61mm, so that everybody will find what they need. To cool down VRAMs and VRMs you will have to purchase extra aluminum sticky coolers, where 10 pieces sell for 4€.
