Although not as popular in Europe, the BLU Products company based in Miami has released the first image of a Windows Phone 8 based smartphone on its official Facebook Page. Featuring round corners and a color back cover, the new BLU Products smartphone is certainly an interesting move from this Miami based company.


So far, BLU Products have been focused on smartphones with Android OS. Closer look at the picture shows a certain resemblance to previously released BLU Dash 5.0 smartphone with a 5-inch 854x480 screen. Earlier this month during its Build conference in San Francisco, Microsoft has announced that Windows Phone OS will be free for devices under 9-inches, which should eventually lead to an increase of more affordable Windows Phone based smartphones.

According to the #BringingYouMoreChoices hashtag that was announced with the sneak preview picture of the smartphone, BLU Products will probably offer even more choice in the near future. Unfortunately, the company has not released any details regarding the actual specifications or the price of the new Windows Phone based smartphone.
