The Phantom lineup by NZXT is quite famous and appreciated, and today it gains a new model: the Phantom 240, an entry level case with a bunch of interesting features, the same that made its big brothers famous.
Last december NZXT presented the 530, a new Phantom case with a lot of interesting features, while last week they showed us the new Phantom 240, a neat case with many features, that can be bought without drying out our bank accounts.
The 240 measures 195x539x529mm and it weighs 8.1kg. It features three 5.25” and six 3.5”/2.5” slots, with a removable cage that allows you to use the longest graphic cards on the market: if you leave the cage on, you can use 290mm long graphic cards, but if you take it out you can go as long as 400mm. For as long as cooling is concerned, there's enough space to place a 158mm high tower cooler, which is more than enough. On the front panel there are 2 slots for 120mm fans (one is included), while on the back panel you find a pre-installed 120mm fan. On the top panel there's enough space to place two 120mm, or a 140mm fan. On the bottom side, in the end, you can place a 120mm. Talking about I/O, there are two USB 3.0, audio jacks and Power and Reset buttons.
Window panel, enough space behind the motherboard tray for a decent cable management, enough internal space to place a custom water cooling system: these are high end features, even though the finish on this case are not the best we've seen. The new NZXT Phantom 240 is sold for a fair price, 69.90$, and we are sure we will see a lot of these around in a few months.
